When I decided to pursue a career as a therapist, I did so because I wanted to make the world a better place, and the best way for me to do that was by helping one person at a time. My primary approach to mental health counseling is the person-centered approach. This means I believe that no one knows you better than you know yourself, and it is my job to help you identify goals, improve communication, strengthen self-esteem, make good decisions, and develop coping skills. I also dive into Radical Acceptance, Transactional Transactional Analysis, and the traditional version of DISC theory, During the counseling process, you’re in the driver’s seat, and I’m GPS to help you on the road to better mental health.

It’s my job to help you deal with your issues in a safe, non-judgmental, and affirming environment, regardless if that environment is in person or via telehealth. I have a wealth of experience working with clients who have issues with anxiety, depression, adult ADHD, sex therapy, and victims of narcissistic abuse (sometimes called Narcissistic Abuse Syndrome).

I am a Certified ADHD Assessment and Treatment Practitioner. I work with adults of all ages, from 18 to 80’s and beyond. ADHD accounts for 30-50% of all mental health referrals. Not only do I have professional experience with ADHD but I have a lifetime of personal experience.

I am an AASECT (American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists) Certified Sex Therapist. I am a firm believer that if you can learn to communicate your wants and needs to your partner about that thing we’re “not supposed to talk about” (sex), then talking about whose turn it is to take out the trash suddenly becomes easy.

But sex therapy isn’t just intimacy and sexual issues; it includes helping people with sexual/romantic orientation, gender identity, victims of sexual assault/abuse, and more. Sex therapy also includes working with members of diverse communities, even when their issues aren’t directly related to sex. These communities include Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Queer, Transgender, Asexual, Aromantic, Kinky, BDSM practitioner, Ethically Non-Monogomous, Polyamorous, Swinger, Sex Worker, Leather, Furry, Age Player, Pet Player, or any related identity, and others in “non-traditional” relationships.

I work with

ADHD, Anxiety, Chronic Impulsivity, Coping Skills, Depression, Divorce, Domestic Abuse, Grief, Impulse Control Disorders, LGBTQ+ Issues, Infidelity, Life Transitions, Men's Issues, Non-Monogamy Issues, Peer Relationships, Relationship Issues, Self Esteem, Sex Therapy, Sex-Positive, Sexual Abuse, Sexual Addiction, Stress, Transgender Issues, Trauma and PTSD, Women's Issues
