Elana is a second-year master’s student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling

program at Capella University. With a background working in foster care and case

management for individuals with disabilities, she has gained extensive experience

supporting a diverse range of clients, from children and teens to adults. Elana is

dedicated to helping others achieve their best selves and fostering a safe, authentic

space for self-expression.


Her counseling approach blends Cognitive Behavioral and Person-Centered

perspectives, reflecting her belief in the profound impact of our thoughts on our actions.

She also values the client’s role as the expert in their own experiences, recognizing that
