Ellie Weiher CT

Centerville, Barn, Counselor in Training

Currently pursuing my master's degree at Antioch University, I am also gaining hands-on experience as an intern. I am committed to providing a focus on inclusivity and empathy, ensuring the well-being of every client. My expertise lies in Trauma-Informed Therapy and Gender Affirming Care. As a proud veteran of the US Army, I bring a unique perspective to my practice. My lifelong passion for horses has deeply influenced my belief that horses can significantly aid in forging connections, building trust, and fostering empathy.

My goal is to ensure that every client feels acknowledged and valued. In our interactions, I strive to create a space where no one feels overlooked. I am adaptable in my methods, prioritizing whatever approach resonates most with you, at your preferred pace. Maintaining harmony with my clients is paramount, encouraging open dialogue about what methodologies benefit them the most.

I am enthusiastic about supporting clients of all ages and stages of life

I will leave you with a one of my favorite quotes:

Our job is not to deny the story, but to shape the ending – to rise strong,

recognize our story, and rumble with the truth until we get to a place where

we think, yes. This is what happened. This is my truth. And I will choose

how the story ends.
