Janine earned her Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from Wright State University and will earn her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from University of the Cumberlands in August 2022. Janine has completed a level 1 Gottman Couples Therapy training, holds a yoga teacher certification from yoga alliance, and is certified in trauma sensitive yoga approaches. Janine is passionate about providing a supportive, nurturing, and non-judgmental environment to hold space for clients so they can navigate life's challenges. She incorporates mindfulness-based, holistic therapy and is passionate about functional, root-cause approaches. Some areas of interest include depression, anxiety, life transitions, self-esteem issues, couples, and trauma. She is currently accepting adolescent and adult clients. Janine believes that therapy is an investment in oneself, and she loves seeing clients thrive and grow as they process existing struggles, heal past wounds, learn new skills, and develop their already existing strengths. Janine is passionate about yoga, holistic health, reading, travel, and meeting new people! As a Counselor Trainee, she is currently under the supervision of MeLisa Andrews, LPCC-S.
