Counselor in Training
Preteens, Teens, Adults, Couples, and Families
Hello,
Hello! My name is Jennifer, and I am currently working on my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Wright State University. I am training under Darcie R Clark LPCC-S, LMHC , and I do not plan on going anywhere until I finish my degree. I take a person-centered, strengths-based approach with a narrative focus. I intend on specializing in complex trauma and dissociation, and I have a particular passion for helping people with religious trauma. I believe these particular niches are being underserved. I genuinely believe that people can achieve the change they hope to see in their lives no matter what they have been through.
As for me, I dabble in anything artistic or with a good story. I enjoy playing video games, reading books, and watching anime, and I watch quite a few Youtube channels as well. When I have the time, I like to run or participate in pen and paper role-playing games. I love anything artistic, including drawing, crochet, coloring books, and making chainmail jewelry. I love experiencing the good in the world and finding beauty in unexpected places.
