Hello,
Hello, my name is Tatum and I am glad you are here! I am currently working on my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, under the supervision of Darcie R Clark LPCC-S, LMHC. I believe in focusing on one’s strengths to create an environment of growth, hope, and lasting change. My main goal as a counselor is to create a safe space for my clients where they can feel heard through true empathy. Based on this viewpoint, I take a strengths-based person-centered approach with a combination of CBT techniques. Each person has a unique story that deserves to be told. As your counselor, I will help guide you on your healing journey and to find the strength already within you.
Population: LGBTQ youth, young adults coping with anxiety, depression, or other mental health disorders, women, adolescents, children.
Area of focus: anxiety, depression, women’s issues, grief and loss, trauma, LGBTQ, LGBTQ family support, trauma.
