Work With Us

Riverscape Counseling has four main locations. One in Dayton, Springfield, and Centerville, Ohio, and one in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana. We specialize in working with BIPOC communities experiences from all walks of life. We take pride in our expertise with lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender individuals and families. We utilize a social justice and feminist framework celebrating diversity and inclusivity. Therapy is provided in both English and Mandarin.

The position offered is for part-time (16) hours or full-time (26+) hours in-office, telehealth, or hybrid clinician to fill our emerging needs. The candidate will have employee status.

We provide:

  • The steady stream of clients.

  • Weekly group consultation.

  • $200 towards CEU's yearly.

  • 5 days of holiday pay. 

  • $200 per month, rollover, QSEHR (for health expenses). 

  • 401K match of 3%.

  • Clinical consultation/supervision as needed by the clinician or as required for licensure.

  • Supportive team environment.

  • Comfortable office space, individualized for your needs.

Requirements are:

  • Minimum current Ohio or Indiana license as an LPC/LSW or LMHCA/LMHC. CT's accepted, with student compensation and contract. Preference will be given to individuals who enjoy working with diverse populations and populations in all age ranges.​

  • Have a proven ability to provide culturally affirming services to individuals and families of color as well as LGBTQ+ individuals and families.​

  • Be available to practice at least two weekday evenings (or a weekday evening and Saturday/Sunday) for a minimum of six clinical prime hours a week.​

  • Be willing to be credentialed on various insurance panels including HMOs and Medicaid.​

  • Agree to a one-year commitment.​

  • Preference will be given to BIPOC and LGBTQ+-identified clinicians. 

  • Clinicians who can provide therapy in English and any other language Spanish, Mandarin, Sign Language, French, etc. are encouraged to reach out.​

  • We are looking specifically for therapists competent in providing therapy to couples and children.​

Training The Counselors of tomorrow

Supervision

Riverscape Counseling is seeking talented Masters Level Counselors in Training to join their team. They are specifically interested in individuals who are dedicated to holistic psychotherapy and are eager to improve their skills, knowledge, and. They encourage applications from BIPOC, LGBTQIA2+, individuals with disabilities, and all other therapists who are committed to supporting counseling in the community. We have had the opportunity to work with many students over the years and have created a system that enables students to meet their hours without feeling stressed and without the need to bounce around from site to site. We are committed and we are looking for like-minded individuals who are equally committed.

 

For LPC's and LPCC'S

At Riverscape both MeLisa Andrews MS, LPCC-S, Ashlyn Eades MS, LMHC, LPCC, and Darcie R. Clark LPCC-S, LMHC, NCC, LICDC, ESMHL are providing individual supervision for LPCs working toward their LPCC and LPCCs working toward their supervisory credential, the "S". With us, you can expect to be supported and challenged in interactive sessions. Darcie Clark is an expert in addictions/recovery, and equine therapy. MeLisa Andrews is an expert on multicultural issues and has a strong clinical background. Ashlyn provides supervision at our Indianapolis location for our students there. Ashlyn has worked in a variety of settings with diverse populations. She has a strong background working with families and children. We work with all ages and backgrounds including LGBTQA+ and we truly love working with people under supervision. All are equally talented.
