Jay is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with over 15 years of clinical and administrative experience, Jay specializes in helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges through evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based interventions.


Jay has extensive expertise in mental health, trauma, addictions, and suicide prevention. He has worked with diverse populations, including adolescents (13+), adults, couples, and Veterans. His clinical approach emphasizes building on clients' strengths and fostering resilience to empower them to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.


Jay is an active and collaborative therapist who provides practical insights and solutions. As a Navy Veteran, he has a unique ability to connect with service members and their families, offering specialized support for Veterans’ mental health and readjustment needs.


Jay believes in a solutions-focused approach that emphasizes collaboration, empowerment, and the development of practical strategies for long-term growth and healing. His dedication to service and commitment to excellence have earned him recognition, including the Montgomery County Sheriff's Volunteer of the Year award.
