Karis is a second-year Clinical Mental Health Counseling student at Liberty University. She holds a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology with a focus on Child and Family Studies from Cedarville University. With a background in behavioral health, she has experience supporting individuals and families across a variety of settings, and she is passionate about creating a warm, supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered.
She believes that everyone deserves to be met with empathy and understanding. She draws from Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Person-Centered approaches, while also taking a holistic view of each client. Her approach is collaborative and grounded in each person’s lived experience, focusing on their strengths and helping them develop practical tools for growth and healing.
